Since Nick Grgas formed Grgas Engineering, Inc. in 1998, Grgas Engineering has worked on hundreds of projects throughout Ontario, Canada and in the United States.
SatCom Structural Engineering Services, including design/build of civil works, have been provided for more locations than any other engineering firm in Canadian history.
Building Projects have included the investigation and repair of millions of square feet of parking garages and surface parking lots, underground tunnels, building envelopes, courthouses, detention centres, schools and commercial office buildings.

Joseph A. Barbuto, B. Tech. Arch. Sci. – Senior Project Manager

Joseph is a graduate of the Bachelors of Technology Architectural Science Degree at Ryerson University in 1978 where he majored in Architecture Design, with minors in Project Management, Building Sciences and Business Administration. Joseph has extensive experience in project management of very large commercial projects. He has worked for 9 years as a building inspector and plans examiner for the Cities of North York, Mississauga, Vaughan and has over 30 years of experience in construction, project management and related fields. His responsibilities at Grgas Engineering include Project Management, preparation of building condition assessment reports, project coordination, construction review including swingstage inspections, preparation of site reports and contract administration.font>

Michael Spyridis, B.Tech. – Project Manager
|
|
|
|
|
Michael has over 20-years of experience related to roofing and building science. He is an active member in the Roof Consultant Institute (RCI), Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC), Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractor's Association (OIRCA) and Construction Specifications Canada (CSC). He provides professional services for roofing and building envelopes, thermographic scans, building condition assessments, reserve fund studies, specifications/drawing contract documents, quality control site reviews. Prior to working as a consultant, Michael worked for a roofing manufacturer and roofing company in a variety of positions including estimator, project manager and site supervisor.

Patrick Y. Rutherford - Drafting Coordinator
|
|
|
|
|
Patrick leads all drafting including preparing construction plans, elevations and detailing. He has performed numerous site surveys of commercial and industrial buildings and parking lots for uses including certification of tenant space using BOMA. He has been involved in VSAT site surveys, the design of new and renovated residential housing complexes and restoration projects.
